8 Steps to our Water Damage Restoration:

So what does it come down to? Well water damage depending on the situation can be quite

the task. It can be as simple as sucking up the water and cleaning the flooring. To as

complex tearing our entire walls, fixing plumbing, taking out cabinets, restoring furniture and

so much more. At Immediate Response we handle every situation differently, yet follow a

strict set of industry guidelines to make sure that everything is taken care of and no future

problems occur. Our guidelines are as follows:

The 8 steps in Water Damage Restoration:

1.) Arrive within the hour with all equipment and technicians ready to start immediately.

2.) Assess the damage: We figure out how long it will take, how much equipment we may need,

what needs to be done first, what precautions must we take, ask you if there is anything you need done right away and make sure you and your family are ok, and all priceless items are taking out of the house and being taken care of.

3.) Begin getting rid of any visible water, sucking it up and pumping it out of floors, carpet and any other places in the house that water damage is visible.

4.) While we are getting rid of the water one of our supervisors will then go through a layout of what will need to be done immediately and what services we can and will perform for you during the water restoration process.

5.) Begin work until all the damage is taken care of: This means taking our floors, drywall, cabinets, etc. then drying out and setting up fans and dehumidifiers, checking moisture readings. Drying out furniture, personal belongs and all other necessary work to make sure all water is contained, cleaned and cut out so that mold will not build and damage areas can be repaired.

6.) Clean Up: Make it so that it looks like we were never there (other then the areas we worked on) and even then it will be minimal and make it so that it looks like nothing ever happened to your home, and you and your family can still function normally without any disruption

7.) Contact your insurance company and start making arrangements making sure that everything is in order and we are all on the same page, all while keeping you informed of every step involved in the process and setting up the payment plan.

8.) Setup a service call for the next business day or until we believe that the drying process should be complete. Then come check on temp, humidity, & moisture making sure that we dried the floor, frame, walls and ceilings, and all other scientific aspects to the flood damage and make sure the job is drying at the time we quoted you on
